About Heritage Brothers Funeral Services

Company History

The Heritage Family have been Funeral Directors since 1934.

The first Heritage Family Funeral Home opened in Healesville, Victoria, established by Frank ‘Spriggy’ Heritage.

Later, Frank’s sons Keith and Robbie opened funeral homes in nearby Lilydale and Croydon.

Wes and Ashley Heritage, grandsons of Frank, opened their Gold Coast Funeral Home in October 1997 then expanded in 1999 with the purchase of Easton Funeral Services of Tweed Heads.

In 2004, the original Heritage Brothers Funeral Home at Burleigh Heads was rebuilt, with a well-appointed chapel and all the features expected of a modern funeral facility.

The more recent purchase in 2008 of Melaleuca Station and the Beck Family’s Melaleuca Funeral Services, incorporating Murwillumbah Funerals, Kingscliff Funeral Services and Tweed Heads Coolangatta Funeral Services, has allowed Heritage Brothers to become a true leader in funeral servicing.

The new Melaleuca Funeral Centre offers fresh style funeral chapels with DVD and audio facilities, and licensed catering in a contemporary café. Memorialisation options in the gardens of this magnificent tranquil location make this facility a complete funeral care centre.

As a third generation Funeral Directing Dynasty, they bring to the Gold and Tweed Coast and Northern NSW Rivers area many years of Funeral Care and Experience.

The Heritage Family pride themselves on providing quality service at affordable prices, always offering personal service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and ensuring every family is cared for in the way they deserve.

Heritage Brothers and Easton Funeral Services are 100% Australian Owned. By requesting the Heritage Family, you are ensuring total care, personal attention and honest service.
