A funeral Director for over 35 years, Wes began his work with the family funeral home in the Yarra Valley, gaining experience in Europe and around Australia, before founding Heritage Brothers on the Gold Coast in 1997. A past national president and life member of the Australian Funeral Directors Association, Wes has experience with everything from the simplest private service to state funerals.
He is still very hands on today, leading the business & ensuring that Heritage Brothers is a active part of the Gold Coast Community through sponsorship and support of many Gold Coast Sports Clubs and Charities.
Wes served many years on the Local Ambulance Committee and was presented with a Paul Harris Fellowship for his involvement with the Burleigh Heads Rotary Club.
Ashley has over 30 years experience in the Funeral Industry, most of those at Heritage Brothers in Burleigh Heads.
Ashley has worked out of our Burleigh Heads branch for the past 25 years and served the community in many ways. He also enjoys membership of many of the local clubs on the Gold and Tweed Coasts.
Active with his Golf as a board member of Burleigh Golf Club and various sports clubs through his children, together with Wes has built up the Gold Coast’s leading family owned funeral business.
Keith is a legend in the funeral service industry with 60 years of experience as a Funeral Director, predominantly in the Yarra Valley, where he received his Order of Australia Medal for service to both the Funeral Industry and the Healesville Community.
A 30 year veteran of the Healesville Hospital Board and Healesville Cemetery Trust, awarded life members by Apex Australia, Healesville Amateur Turf Club and the Healesville Football Netball Club.
Keith is a past president pf the Victorian Division of the Australian Funeral Directors Association.
Ashley’s eldest son Mitchell joined the family business in late 2022, and is quickly learning from the ground up, as has been the training procedure for all four generations of the Heritage Family.
Polishing Hearses and Coffins, caring for the deceased and assisting with funerals ensures Mitchell understands every element of funeral care, and lays the groundwork for a good career in the funeral industry.
